Why RSC
With the remote set control you get live action with no delay, a unique service wherever you are, wherever you shoot. You can see what the camera captures in real time.
The images are transmitted in real-time, with end-to-end encryption to Clients, Agencies and Production Teams not attending the shoot, with less than 0,3 seconds delay while aiming at being 0,10 seconds via RSC version 2.0.

ADVANTAGES COMPARED TO OTHER SYSTEMS
Currently, there are many remote streaming systems out there on the market. Ours is simply unique. Collaborating with a team of software and hardware developers, Some of Us has conceived and developed a new system, which shows significant advantages over other existing ones.
KEY BENEFITS:
- No further hardware is required in addition to your device.
- No need to install supplementary software or download special Apps on your computer. It’s a “non-invasive” system.
- No use of teleconferencing software, such as Zoom, Skype, etc., to transmit signals.
- With its special hardware RSC increases the strength of Wi-Fi connection, just in case the location may not be entirely covered.
- Can transmit up to 4 camera signals by selecting between Shooting and Survey Camera/s.
- Provides the possibility to connect a 360° survey camera which can be operated by the Director directly from his computer thus allowing him/her the possibility to examine the set even from remote.
- It is possible to divide the video transmission into separate and dedicated channels, i.e. Director & Producer channel, Agency channel, Client channel etc., so as to establish in advance what the various teams should receive.
- If necessary, the Director could also coordinate the shots remotely with a 2nd or even a 3rd shooting unit, while simultaneously working from the main set. In a nutshell, RSC prevents from delegating where unnecessary.
- By examining a problematic location, possibly not sufficiently covered or even without internet connection, in advance, we have at times managed to overcome those limitations through technical measures and special additional hardware purposely selected from our team of valuable technicians. We succeeded to proceed with the usual operation of the system even under “impossible” circumstances for others.

1. The video signal is direct-streamed from Camera or output from video recorder, i.e. Q-Take, through a purposely designed hardware realized by a team of IT technicians under our supervision.
2. It is transmitted to our servers where a unique and innovative software - also specifically designed for RSC - makes it available anywhere in the world, on any computer, tablet or smartphone.
3. Just connect via a web browser of your choice, e.g. Safari, Chrome, etc., enter the User ID and Password provided by us and you get "ON SET"
4. The signals are encrypted.
5. For sound shoots, the related sync-audio is transmitted in addition to the video.
6. RSC provides a dedicated audio feedback channel for communications between the director, the crew and the agency. This may be turned in mute mode if needed, following the production/agency communication requirements.

SPECIAL FEATURES
In a few months, we will release RSC version 2.0 which will reduce the hardware dimension to the size of just over a pack of cigarettes and the hardware weight to approximately 300/400 g. Those enhancements will grant the following additional benefits:
- Near-zero latency 0,10 seconds in HD.
- Transmitter function It will be no longer necessary to have the standard video transmitters on set due to certain limitations to the range of action. With the new version we will overcome most of the current limits. It will be possible to transmit images from any distance.
- Durability, the extremely small size and the use of a lithium battery guarantee a durable autonomy. This allows the use of RSC in previously tricky situations.
Some examples are using RSC onboard a drone, on a pursuit vehicle, (Russian/Scorpio arm, quad bike), F1 car, motorcycle and all other possible applications and needs that until now were restricted by size, weight, autonomy and range of transmitters.
